Unfortunately, due to the current coronavirus situation, we've had to make the decision to cancel all future netball training sessions with immediate effect.
This decision has been made following the Government guidance issued last night and with the health and safety of our members in mind. We're sorry for any inconvenience. We'll be back up and running as soon as it's safe to do so.

We have made the decision to continue training for all ages groups as normal this week (unless any further government advice is received after the time of publishing).
Although the committee has assessed the risk to our members and the wider netball family as low, we will be implementing some additional hygiene measures to protect against COVID-19:
Going forward, we would like to continue training until we are informed it is no longer safe to do so, because at times like this, exercise and normality are important to our mental health and resilience. However, we will assess this on a week-by-week basis. If you feel unwell or have been to any of the affected countries in the last 14 days, please do not attend training. If you are unable to come or choose to stay at home as a precautionary measure, please let your captain or a member of the committee know so we have an idea of numbers. Thank you for your continued support. Colwyn Netball Club will be following advice from local government, Welsh Netball, Public Health Wales, and the World Health Organisation on the current COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
At present, there are no plans to cancel training sessions or league games, but this is a rapidly changing situation, so please keep checking our social media channels and website for the latest news. It goes without saying that the health and safety of our players, coaches, and committee is our main priority, so if you feel unwell or have recently visited any other country (particularly the known affected areas), please refrain from attending training or games until further notice. |
