Colwyn Netball Club was founded in 1978. It is run by a passionate and dedicated committee of volunteers with the support of our players, parents and friends.
We have over 100 members, ranging from 9 to 60 years old. No experience in netball is required to become a member of the club. We have a team for everyone whether you want to play competitively or just to improve your fitness. We encourage family and friends to support our teams, through coaching, managing, umpiring, helping out on the committee or simply being there at match times to cheer on our teams and be part of our netball family. |
mission statement |
We believe in the power of competitive netball to help youths acquire skills, values and attitude which will enhance their development, create aspiration and encourage inclusion.
We aim to generate a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity placing emphasis on effort, attitude and techniques over outcome. We will work together with all our members to ensure that the club's reputation is for fair play and good sportsmanship. We believe that netball is more than just a sport; it is our best moments, our closest friends and is to be enjoyed by everyone, no matter what their ability or age. |
